PAINTER & SCULPTOR

I was born in London, but spent my childhood in Connemara, on the west coast of Ireland.
I returned to London, where I have lived most of my life. The sea and mountains have remained with me as a constant source of inspiration for my work. I would say that I have a sense of belonging in both countries. The stark contrast and juxtaposition of London and Connemara has given me a sense of duality, that is reflected in my work. This is expressed through dislocated, abstract projections of an internal and external world which strives to reach a harmonious space.
